the win is intense right here
EDIT: Forget that, I'm reading this. Hilarious stuff

KCAFO was pretty good.

According to Andrea Libman, "John De Lancie delivered a line so perfectly that it will make the internet explode".
Now I'm just sitting here wondering what that line was, because there were plenty of good lines.
Oh and also I was planning to post a meme on My Little Brony titled "Brace yourselves, Fluttershy X Discord shippings are coming".
And then my jaw dropped as I saw someone else had beaten me to it. They used the same words, picture and everything!

what was the new episode about
i was too busy watching the old ones <_>
If you just want the basic summary:
Celestia tasks the ponies with reforming Discord, but Fluttershy is the only one willing to give him a chance.
I'm guessing you already know that though. So if that's the case here's a larger summary.
Don't read if you don't want spoilers
Princess Celestia sends a message to the mane 6 saying she will be arriving in Ponyville with a special guest. The guest is revealed to be Discord's statue which shocks the ponies. She says she believes that they have the ability to reform Discord so that he may use his powers for good instead of evil. They're mostly skeptical about it, especially Spike.
However, to keep Discord from messing everything up again Celestia casts a spell on the Elements of Harmony that prevents him from using his powers to hide them anywhere.
They set Discord free, and he starts acting like a big jerk and stuff. And Fluttershy's Stare doesn't work on him.
Fluttershy chooses to let Discord stay at her house so that she can teach him proper manners.
And then other stuff happened that I don't want to spoil for you so you can still enjoy the episode. It included plenty of chaos, and Discord once attempted to grab Twilight's crown since he couldn't use magic on it.
Fluttershy referred to him as her friend at one point, and Discord showed a hint of softness, saying that he'd never had a friend before.
Later it was revealed that Discord had flooded Sweet Apple Acres. Fluttershy was disappointed, but she still persisted on asking him to stop. Discord promised that he would stop if she promised not to use her Element of Harmony on him. Despite the protests from the other ponies, she took off the necklace and threw it back to Twilight.
And of course Discord lied, and he turned the flooded farm into an ice skating rink. He continued to pester Fluttershy, and Twilight kept telling her to use the Elements; the Princess would understand that the process hadn't worked.
Fluttershy chose to stick to her promise, and denied it.
But eventually Discord's babbling pushed her over, and she began to walk away saying he wasn't her friend.
Discord acted cocky for a while and said something along these lines: "So what? I'm the lord of chaos. I can do whatever I want; I don't care if I lose my one and only... friend..."
He was silent for a moment.
"...Well played, Fluttershy."
Discord returned everything to normal, cue ending sequence and that's it.
So yeah, that's what you missed.

The ending of the new episode made me shed manly tears of joy. One of the best episodes we've got so far, imo. :3

Aha! Found it!
It was right in front of me the whole time.
I don't know how I didn't realize that it was the one; it certainly did stand out when I first heard Discord say it.

I liked it, but the topic deserved far more than the 22 minutes it got IMO. It's sort of a recurring problem with the show though - they have such great ideas and such little time to squeeze an entire plot into that things often come off as a bit rushed.

I know people are ranting and bashing it, but I loved the new ep. It was cute, and seeing my favorite villain lighten up a bit was nice to me. I agree, it would've done better as a two-part episode, but hey, they worked the most of it into 22 minutes, and I was satisfied.

Good thing they didn't stick to the original plan of having 15-minute episodes.

Yes, it certainly is, but we just have to hope Hasbro is okay with it.

That is some epic wordplay right there. You get kudos from me buddy.
@kimmy: Did you draw that yourself? That's some very impressive shading.
