That was Magic Duel
It was? Who learned their destiny? Twilight?
@Fundude
Tell him that if he really cares about your feelings, he'll stop saying that. He's trying to force you out of it, and it's not good to stop someone from liking what they do for no reason.

Anyone on this thread heard of My Little Pony: Fighting is Magic? It looks so cool but my dad probably won't let me get it when it comes out, he thinks ponies are only for girls.
My parents are worse. They don't even want me watching the cartoon because apparently "The internet has corrupted my brain into liking it".

Watch it anyways. When people say stuff like that, they go on commonsensemedia.com. Let me tell you, commonsensemedia.com has no common sense.

I agree. But my parents will most likely take my stuff away from me.

Well, tell them that they need to stop being that inconsiderate, and let you like what you like. Tell them that it hurts your feelings when they disallow you to even do a little thing that harms nobody emotionally or physically.

Told them. They said that they want me to be raised the way they want me. That means no.

Ugh. I hate it when people just go: IT'S FOR BOYS! NO PLAYING WITH IT! or IT'S FOR GIRLS NO PLAYING!
If I had a son or daughter who was attracted to those of the same gender, I'd be fine. They want a disney princesses shirt and they're a boy? Ok. Want a boyish shirt when they're a girl? Sure thing.
Just try not to do that if you get older and have kids of course.

I've sure heard of it c: I fail at fighting games and games overall, but I'll be sure to try it when it comes out. Can't you just download it? Or do your parents monitor what you download, as well?
Sucks to hear that. I'd simply continue to watch it without caring for others' opinions, but that's coming from a total "lol I do what I want" guy who never cares for others' opinions in the first place.

As in, not "raise them like you want them to be", or not be too liberal in their choice of toys, shirts and the such?

You mean not be too conservative?

It's just a cartoon. If you tell your father like '' I like Family Guy '' or something he says ''Ok , whatever'' but if you tell you like FIM he is like ''OMG thats for little girls'' also , try to show them the bear scene.
Offline
Why would the bear scene change anything? It's not really that intense or anything.
