What I'm saying, is that she was totally viscous, and when she lost, she felt she would be accepted even less, then, she apologized which she would have never done if Twilight had lost.
so what
have you never panicked you'd lose a friend over something small and trivial and apologised quickly and haphazardly?
maybe she knew people in ponyville who respected twilight
maybe she comes from somewhere where it's acceptable to do that but had to change her moral code as she realised the ponyville ponies wouldn't find it acceptable
so what

but, you know...
neither did trixie.
Plus I feel like you're completely missing the point. She apologized because she was, you know, sorry. And it was the amulet that made her so awful, really she's just proud. Also, if Twilight had won, then she would still have the amulet so of COURSE she wouldn't be sorry.

Then I guess I'm strange. I don't do things that would make me lose a friend anyways. Trixie didn't have Twilight as a friend in the first place, so that's kind invalid...
I just don't get what you're saying at all. I still think that it's not much of a sorry I would really like. If someone was mean to me before a game, and then when/if I win, they say sorry? That just seems like they are saying, if you're good, I like you, otherwise, I don't want to be nice to you.

No, it wasn't. She wanted the amulet to challenge Twilight. It did corrupt her more, but she was awful from the beginning.

Why is wanting to challenge Twilight so terrible? She just wants to prove herself - it's obvious that before, everyone always told her she was the best, then suddenly she finds out she isn't. It makes sense to at least want a second chance, and just the fact that she wanted the amulet really isn't that bad. Just based on the first Trixie episode, I really doubt she would want to drive Twilight out of Ponyville.
also, I loved the rock farm bit

It would have been better if she had been better after the FIRST time than that. And it's not her challenging Twilight. It's her being so rude, dishonest, and arrogant when doing it. If she didn't give her a consequence, it would be fine.
Her wanting the amulet was bad in my opinion, as she intended to use it for harm, not good.
Didn't want to drive her out of Ponyville? Nobody was telling her to, but she did it.

was it necessary to quote...
I seriously doubt she meant to actually harm anyone. It's pretty clear from the first episode that she's not completely malicious, she's just boastful and a bully. Even in that episode, she didn't do any real harm - that was Snips and Snails (who I hate, but whatever). Does she seem like the kind of pony that would research a lot of information about things like that before getting them?
also: THE AMULET MAKES HER EVIL.

Yes. And I know the amulet makes her evil... Do I have to say that again? Why would she get it for no reason? She got it just to challenge Twilight, then it made her want to attack Twilight MORE. I feel like I'm repeating this over and over again.

Your opinion. Let's just stop because we're not going to change each other's minds.

I was, admittedly, a little disappointed after the first three episodes. While I still liked them, they weren't as great as some of the previous episodes. However, One Bad Apple and Magic Duel are amongst my favourite episodes of the show; I'm much more excited for the rest of the season now.

Well, I thought they were about as good as the first half of the Season 1 Episodes. The last half of Season 1 and the last half of Season 2 have the best episodes.
Pinkie Pie.

Yeah, I suppose I'd agree with that analysis.
Some episodes that I'm quite fond of (in no particular order) are Sonic Rainboom, A Dog and Pony Show, Green Isn't Your Colour, May the Best Pet Win!, The Last Roundup, Read It and Weep, Putting Your Hoof Down, Ponyville Confidential, and the aforementioned One Bad Apple & Magic Duel.
My least favourite episodes are Lesson Zero, Baby Cakes, and Owl's Well That Ends Well. Baby Cakes is just dull, whereas the mental instability in the other two with the misdeeds of Twilight & Spike respectively in the others just bothers me.

You hate Baby Cakes and Lesson Zero? How dare you!
Ahh, just kidding. But I loved those two.

Baby Cakes is just dull; nothing really happens. Sure, it has the Cake's twins, but not much else.
And I really just don't like the portrayal of her descent into madness.

I love mental breakdown episodes; my favorite being Squids Day Off from Spongebob.
And Baby Cakes was just awesome. And the ending was adorable.
