Okay, you've got a good point there.

Still though, a scooter isn't a bad talent. If Scootaloo is good with her scooter, it means she's athletic. She'll have nothing to complain about once she gets her mark.

I think it's hard to say what they could do with Scootaloo yet as they haven't gone as in depth on her as they have the other CMC. Perhaps the upcoming episode will offer some revelations.
