I still don't see the point of actually going up to family members and telling them "so, I'm a brony." No need to announce it. If you want to be open about it, be so, watching it casually, maybe even mentioning it at times, and if anyone asks then give your reasons to like the show. I insist; it's not something big you're supposed to announce.
Do you announce being a part of any other fandom as well? "Hey Mom, lately I've been reading some Superman comics and I like them." Not much point in it, right?wolvesstar97 wrote:

Okay, so I told her...
She just said “Okay.“
Then I showed her the first part of “Sonic Rainboom“, and she said that Fluttershy was cute.
Best day of my life.

I feel so alone as a brony. ;-;
There are only two bronies in my school, one actually lied about it, my dad is just being an idiot about it, my dad's boss says the show is GIRLY IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY. My dad's boss' son is a brony, though.

I know ONE pegasister in my school, but nobody else in my school that likes it. I get teased, but I just let it go.

And the weird thing is that this is ONLY with ponies. I mean, if you were watching something equally girly like Gilmore Girls or Sailor Moon, no one would care. Ever. Unless maybe your parents are the type who punish you for playing with dolls because they're not manly or your friends are really close-minded.
Anyways the best plan for telling someone you enjoy something is to do/watch/read it while they're in the room. Unless it's illegal or really creepy.

I don't think that anyone likes the show in my school. Maybe that's because I'm in high school.

There is not one pony fan in my school to my knowledge, but y'know it's the same with almost every thing I've liked since I was 10 so whatever.

i'd honestly be surprised if there wasn't at least ONE other brony/pegasister in my school because it's a huge school.

I have a RD shirt. It's quite small.
Anti-bronies are so immature. This is EXACTLY what they're saying.
"It's wrong to like what I dislike."

Actually, I'd think that it would then be more likely, based on the average age of bronies.
