Nope, I seriously was hoping they didn't. And well, they never did. Candence and Shining Armor ended up beating her themselves.

I just watched the two parts a while ago, it was awesome :3 Is it me, or is Pinkie's voice different from other episodes? In Royal Weeding her voice seems to crack and squeak a lot more than usual.

EDIT: Liked the new villain too, I'm sure we'll see fanfics involving her in to time.

The mane (I'm sorry) reason I like Mare in the Moon best is because of the part with Fluttershy. I actually started crying, because it was just TOO CUTE. Same with Hurricane Fluttershy.

Don't get me wrong, up until the end I was like big_smile , but then the ending happened and my expression was more like neutral . I mean really, that was single-handily the WORST ending to a two parter ever. Not only was it incredibly girly, but it was completely underwhelming. The Mane 6 don't even do anything. If Twilight or the rest of them had actually helped contribute to the whole "lovey-dovey-magical-shield" thing, it would have been just fine. But they just derp around and look at SA an Cadence.

Way to be third wheels girls.

Pfff, I was thrilled. They avoided the ending I was worried about. Sure it could have been a little less cheesy, but with what they had they did an excellent job. I think the two of them working together to repel the changelings was very fitting.

Although the ending was girly, let's not forget who the target audience is here. wink
It's possible they did that to make up for that pony battle scene. It was a bit more graphic than usual.

MLP is awesome! People shouldnt judge a book by its cover. They should see it before saying it is babyish. People who still dislike it after actually seeing it are okay. I have nothing against them.
