Hey Scratch Team,
I have some suggestions of how to lower the number of stickies and ITopics there are. Here are some:
Info:
IGuide:
Necropost:
Answered:
Here is how each of them would work:
Info: This topic might have good information in them. Though this information is very broad.
IGuide: This gets put in front of a topic if it is a very good guide. In every forum, there would be a sticked topic saying this:
"These are some good guides created by scratchers.
Necropost: This gets put in front of a topic if it is older then 6 months.
Answered: This gets put in front of a topic if the question is answered. At the bottom, the topic owner would have these choices:
Report | Delete | Edit | Mark as Answered | Quote
Hope you like these!

I like those ideas, especially the "Mark as answered" one

Yeah, we could really use that.

After 5 users mark as answered, then it becomes mark as answered!: Idea!

I support, but "necropost" isn't exactly the word for an old topic, but rather the reply that happens later.

Isn't answered basically one reason for closing?
Otherwise, I support!

Interesting ideas! This is kind of like how we use tags on projects...this could be tagging for topics.
Rather than "Mark as answered" maybe we should just look into making it so that people can close their own topics. Let me look into that

Thank you so much. And yeah, we could let scratchers close there own topics. Because you guys probably get 100000000 requests a day for topics to be closed. That would take a lot of weight off your shoulders.
