Hi
I'm beginning to get a little deeper into Scratch and have run into a problem.
After working for about 4 hrs on a silly little game, I wanted to add some stylish text, so I went searching for some options on the Scratch site. I downloaded a sprite that promised to give 3D text and it appeared in my project immediately. Not what I expected to happen, but I explored it for a few minutes and then decided that it didn't exactly work for me.
So I deleted the sprite. But the text itself has remained on the stage. In fact, it's on stage throughout all the screens of the project and I cannot remove it. But it's not on either of the two stage backgrounds. And there is no text-sprite. Where is it coming from? I cannot figure out how to remove it.
Any thoughts? I just hate the idea that all the time I've already put into this project has gone to waste.
Thanks!

Try Going into the "Pen" Tab, and using the "Clear" block... If that doesn't Work then I don't know what happened...

What Splodgey said.
The sprite used the stamp feature; I'm 99% sure of that.
cleargets rid of all stamps and pen marks.

Yeah, see, what happened was that the sprite that was doing the number text bit was stamping itself onto the stage. When you "clear" the stage, all stamps are washed away, and you have a clean slate.
