Roses in the Sunlight

I finished it, finally. It's got plenty of repeats, so without the repeats it's a whopping 191 measures.
Check it out here!

Sounds great!  Piano sounds a little weird, but it fits the music.

Re: Roses in the Sunlight

I think the piano sounds dissonant at bits, but that's completely fine and works with the whole thing.

Well it's not really dissonant, it just sounds 'off'.

I was about to say, "You're not being very helpful,"
but then I realized that I was being churlish.

Wait, your name?
It conjures up a completely different image than the personality you display on the forums.

This is a temporary signature. It will exist until I think of something witty.

Wow! It's really good  big_smile

Though the alto sax sounds really weird (not the notes, the actual sound).

Nope. No way to record the alto sax.

Re: Roses in the Sunlight

Amazing! I don't like the alto sax because it sounds loud, overpowering, and a bit obnoxious, but that's the way pretty much all alto saxophones sound. It's very good though.

Perhaps make it a flute?

It has a really weird tone, it's weirdly tinny - if it were played in real life and had dynamics (loud/soft markings) it would sound nice. For this, I think it would be nice if it were changed to a clarinet of some sort (like alto or bass).
