Re: -'Frozen Coco' Needs A Female Singer-

I know, well I meant on my other account obvisouly. Oh trust me, Pixelate is gonna kick off alright! We already have the tune for our  first song and the lyrics, we're just rehearsing for the big thing! I know, most scratch bands don't actually make any songs at all, but I can promise you once our first song is out you can listen to it first  big_smile

'Promise'? You're new to the business; anything could happen. I've seen band members of your's quit due to no faith, but if you keep going, you could do good.  smile

Also, I think the difference is you generate melodies through GarageBand. I am interested to know if all instruments will be genuinely played and not computer generated? Getting musicians initially can be hard, but is more creditable.

I agree, but we do acoustic as well. We are just doing a collection of computer-generated music, then we are going for acoustic. Oh, DIY you really don't know me. Im the persistent type, you won't catch me quitting. Is that what you really think? I'm going to prove that wrong alright! Maybe my band members might 'quit' but I'm going to keep going, even if it is a one-man band.

I was not insulting you. I've just been wondering... why is this topic still going on in an irrelevant thread...? This discussion does not need to be here.

Re: -'Frozen Coco' Needs A Female Singer-

I'm sorry DIY, I  don't think this is exactly about this thread, but I think I might be quitting the forums. It's not because of you, it's just everyone keeps thinking I'm some idiot just because I wan to get somewhere on Scratch. So I'm going to post on the forums anymore, only for my own benefit. Bye.

* I meant NOT going on the fourms. Just fixed a few typos. It was just a certain someone which was certainly not you who caused me to quite posting on here.

when gf clicked
forever
say [FROZEN COCO ROCKS] for (3) secs
think [I hope I get part for second vocalist~] for (millions of) secs
Also, DIY, have you seen my cover art I did for you? If so, do you like it? I don't mind if you think it's rubbish, as it only took a few minutes to do because I'm pretty nifty with my tablet.

I quite like it actually.  tongue

I started on a similar project, to revamp the cover arts, and Techno is aware of that. My one looks more like the original, but with a more computer-sketched feel to it. We can consider both cover arts when uploading. Anyway, the singles are already out, and the album will just use one cover art (I have created one separately). So I'm not sure we'll be needing a separate My Voice to You cover art at all.

Thanks anyway!  smile

Re: -'Frozen Coco' Needs A Female Singer-

LolaRose1892, could you please upload the three tracks again? Please try and make those the final takes you will do. That means it's got to be polished with no mistakes. Take time to get used to the way the songs are sung. I know you probably read music, so there's no reason as to why there should be errors.

Please do upload before tomorrow. Thanks!  smile

Will do! My brother broke my mic, so I'm gonna have to stick with recording stuff on my tablet. Was the quality of the sound all right? I know the songs much better now, but was the recording too fuzzy or anything? I could try recording it on the built-in mic on my computer but I'm not sure if it will be much better.

Lol, I've been practising all morning and driving my brother mad!  tongue

Hey that's fine! I just did it because I had spare time and didn't know what else to do, so that's okay!

Yours will probably look way better anyway.  big_smile

THANK GOODNESS! I will go re-record it then! I will have it uploaded as soon as I have it done!  smile

So are you using me in the songs then? And who is the lead singer you already have, or 'chosen one' as I call it?

Sorry. Loads of questions. I'm a very inquisitive person.  big_smile
