Risks to Civilization, Humans, and Planet Earth
A topic I have been reading about recently.
Basically, this is to discuss potential ends to the world. In case you want to know what kinds of things qualify, I think this chart sums it up pretty well.
You can talk about anything relating to the subject. Theories, ideas, myths, fictional stories, whatever floats your boat.
If you want some more info, Wikipedia has an article of the exact same name as this thread.
Do go and frolic in the fields of discussion and apocalyptic situations.

Although an interesting topic, I'm concerned that this topic doesn't exactly fall towards the structure of the RaP forum since it isn't exactly sharing something you're reading and playing. So I'll close this thread.
Do feel free to make a project about it though. 
Everything is better when you add a little cheddar, because when you have cheese your life is at ease
