connecting an old apple mac to an xp home edition windows computer
trying to connect a apple mac computer ..c. 9.2 to a windows xp computer.
although there is airport in file menu of the mac..it apparently comes up with it does not have it installed.
so trying to use a direct ethernet connection. i have ip addresses for both computers
but whatever i have tried..does not seem to work.
If anyone has linked two computers up directly..like this..and give me straight forward information and instructions on how to connect the two computers etc..could you contact me on one of my project's comment boxes..

I have done this with an ethernet cable, iMac and XP computer.
What are you trying to do? Transfer files?
