Why has there been downtime for the last few hours?

Well, they're great. Nice and cheap, cheaper than most hosts I've found, but still good service. It is true there are cheaper out there, but Fluctis is reliable. Although I have found the control panel down a few times, I can't remember any case of that in the last month or so. It has a nice online console which looks a lot like the 'real' thing, if you've ever run a server from your computer you'll recognize it. There's also a free server banner thing; like this;

The control panel makes it nice and easy to install and change plugins without connecting to FTP, although you can still do that.

Anyway... I shouldn't ramble... and especially not promoting something xD
Oh, and just as a side note, the console is almost impossible to use on iPod, or at least my iPod anyway.
And they do delete server logs, so if you'd like to keep them, best back them up.

That gave me an idea... command blocks at the spawn place to switch game mode might be useful for people who aren't ops.

But if ops are password-guessed, they can be used to wreck havock such as the [kill @a] attatched to a clock.

Command blocks are disabled. They're awesome, but could be used to destroy the server easily.
