Programming.

Yes! We need more programmers.

Cool! Now what part of the game would you wat me to program? Battle Sequences, The variables of each Poke'mon or just programing in general (programing just anything that needs to be done)

Just an idea, but maybe your could program otherworld walking, bumping (not going through a wall or walking on water), and the chat when you talk to an npc.

I think it would be better if I did some battle sequences. I could come up with a formular for the power of attacks (like the power of the pokemon adds to the attack). I could set up variables and broadcasts so it could be easier to edit later on. I am wondering if I can sign up to do so. If you want I can try and make a demo to show you.

Well, I guess you could do the demo, considering that you have the freedom to make what you want.

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

I'll just try to make a quick demo with just "scribbles" of fakemon just to show you the engine then I can start recieving the actual sprites.

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Just a question, would you like the battle system controls be like normal games, or like stadium. The normal ones would be great but if we were to add local multiplayer, pokemon stadium's controls would be great!

Hey guys, I'll be more active from Wednesday. It's half-term, but there are Bank Holidays on Monday and Tuesday (because of the Diamond Jubilee), so my dad will be home - using the computer.

It can, but It will be very hard and possibly make the project too big to upload. On top of all of this is that we have to wait until Scratch 2.0 comes out.

Speaking of programming, maxdoss, can you sign me up for it? As well as art? I'm going to be doing programming at school (command line), so I want a challenge on Scratch.

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Hey guys, today is my last day of school, it's a half day in fact.  I'm going to tell you guys this right now, and I hope you understand, I found a new website that I was pretty much promised a higher position in, if I git it my all.  The website is a spriting website, so I can upload some sprites, but it's a basic fusion website, which means you're supposed to be able to tell what was used easily.  I'm an advanced fusion spriter, so it's hard already for me there to go one step down again.  I'll still be posting here, maybe even a little more because of all the time I have over Summer Break.  I hope you guys understand, thanks.

I know, I could possibly have more time than before.  Btw, I'm officially on Summer Break now  smile
As for the website I'm busy on, I could find another Scratch-Spriter to replace Zangooser (I don't think she's coming back  sad ), and I found a good Fusion idea generator, so this is somewhat good  smile

Re: Pokemon- Land Version and Pokemon- Sea Version Collab

Without pokedirector, will things workout? Is there a point for us to keep going? We lost most of our team, I dont want to waste time on a project, if we cant even finish it. Is it time to throw in the towel? If you guys want me to I will stay but, is it possible for this project to keep on going?

Err... my whole counter-post summed up was that I am staying and once in a while I will have more time.  I'm also looking for a new Scratch-Spriter to help us if I'm not present at any certain time.
