Re: Blender!

I think I can help you too because I also started with Blender recently.
I have version Blender 2.57.1!
(1) I only know one way to use an image as a material. Either you use a texture as a material, or you do it with "UV Mapping", so you can draw the material with other programs and insert it in Blender. Just go to youtube.com and search for "Blender UV Mapping"!
(2) This is the last question I can answer: Yes, you can! Maybe you know that you can insert keyframes with "i". If you want to animate the objects color, go to keyframe 1; set the color of the object to for example red; touch the button where you can change the color with the mouse; press "i" to insert a keyframe; move 50 keyframes forward; change the color of the object to green;  touch the button where you can change the color with the mouse; and press again "i" to insert a keyframe. And you can do it again and again, of course you can choose other colors and move more keyframes forward than only 50.

I hope I could help you and you understand it (sorry for my bad english)

I'm sure if he knew that this topic still existed, he would love your contribution, but the topic is over a year old LOL.

But it seems like your english  is fine, and thanks for helping, I used to Blend and have great difficulty with it.

1. I highly doubt you have an IQ of 300, but thats not important.
2. There a plenty of video tutorials on youtube which can provide help with blender, so you can go searching there.
