How do I Make my sprite walk into a different background?

Hey, I just joined scratch and I need to make my own game and I am making different levels, and ive been wondering how do I make my scratch walk into the next background (instead of him just appearing in another background)

Use a scrolling background.
The wiki has a good tutorial on it, or your could try this.

Programming is an art...
