I had 25565 port forwarded since a long time ago when I did a bit of classic serving.
Then I simply downloaded the Minecraft server.exe and used that until someone pointed out that Bukkit is better, so I switched to that and copied pasted the world folder.Oh...okay....

My ext. IP is always changing. To get a static one you have to pay lots of $$$ so I simply got a dynamically updating dyndns domain name

I'm pretty sure you don't need to use a cracked client...

Link then?
I thought I found it, but it says it costs...

Ahem.
But anyway, I would like to be whitelisted. IGN is soft319.
@SJRCS_011: The register thing (AuthMe) is made for offline mode. It makes people use a password to do anything so that hackers can't be a fake of someone else with more permissions.

Registering only works when what is online?
The user has to be in online mode
I entered my password correctly, and it wouldn't work when offline.

You have type /register then your password twice.
If you password was foo for example... it would be
/register foo foo
