why didn't this work?
This project doesn't seem to work... maybe you could download it and see what the problem is? The ball isn't falling to the paddle correctly.
The project is http://scratch.mit.edu/projects/Mokat/2389784. Any help would be appreciated!

You had some of the ball's scripts tangled up. The scripting still isn't correct, but the problem you talked about is fixed here
