Terraria
Okay, a couple of months ago a friend told me about a cool new game called "Terraria". I decided to check it out on youtube and some gaming forums. Because most people approved of it, I bought the game.
It's one of the most addicting things I've ever played. I spent hours obsessively mining, crafing, and building with my friends. Just when I thought I'd gotten over Minecraft, I find this. And I don't regret it one bit.
Does anyone else here have this game? Do you love it or hate it? Were you addicted to it?
If you don't have it, I highly recommend it to people who love Minecraft and want something new.
Oh, yeah, and you can buy Terraria off Steam for $10. They stopped updating it, so don't expect it to increase in value or something.

I can see where you're coming from, but have you tried it yet? Although MC is 3D, Terraria certainly has more 'stuff' in it. If you ever get bored of MC, it's fun to try. Also, in my personal experience, Terraria feels like it has less 'building' involved, with more surface caves, mobs, weapons, and stuff. Minecraft, to me, is much, much more fun to make stuff in, but Terraria is nice to just play.

I might buy it, but I don't know if my computer can run it (if my computer can run minecraft with lots of lag could it run terraria?

I don't understand it. Seems like a cross between dig dug (digging), cave story (caves and stuff), and to some extent, minecraft (finding/making items).
You mine, make stuff, and kill things.
Minecraft, well, you can download mods to keep yourself going, but you don't need mods to make it fun. Just build really big things. You'll never get bored. You'll also never finish them.
