Well I belong to numerous forums that although not all graphics based, they all have a "Signature Of The Week/Month" competition.  And so just now I had my 'Eureka!' moment.

Why not have a Scratch Of The Month?

How it works:

- Each month you can submit a project to be considered.
- After allowing one week to pass and collecting all the projects, they will be posted in the post below for everyone to view and rate.
- After a further week, I will total the votes and the winning  project will be 'featured' on this topic at the top of the page for all to see.

Rules:

- Only one project may be submitted per person.
- Each person may only vote twice (explained in voting - see below).
- You can't base your project off someone elses project that has been submitted.
- Once you click 'Submit', unless a genuine mistake, you can't then edit your post, for example to update your project.
- All forum rules and other rules apply!

Voting:

- You must vote for your favourite project and your second favourite.
- Fav's get 2 points, Sec's get 1 point.
- In the event of a draw, I will count the project with the most Fav's as the winner.
- You can't vote for your own project.

Disclaimer:

This is not an "official" competition.  I'm not a Scratch Team member and if your project wins it doesn't mean that it will definately be 'featured' on the main website page.

Don't feel bad if yours isn't the winner.  Just by participating you've gained more visitors for your project and you've proven that you can code in Scratch.  Besides I'm sure it was good 

Why Should YOU Enter:

- You can improve your Scratch knowledge and see how other people may create similar projects to you but how they differ.

- There is a prize for the winner (not much - just an image that says you won).

- Even if you don't win, by submitting your project it instantly gets more views!

Notices:

- In the event that a user wins twice in a row, they may NOT enter on the third month.  This is only fair.

- Please see deadlines and the status to find out more (below).
