Soundtrack to Miscellaneous II release and the future of compilations

It's here! it's here! it's finally here!

Yes friend, the second and final soundtrack to Miscellaneous is here.

But why say final, you might ask. There are still amazing musicians on Scratch that need to be compiled!
I concur, but, as you may remember, Miscellaneous got closed! we must advance!

And so let's do another. You guys figure out the album art & name and make songs, I'll compile them.

Seasoned professionals from the Miscellaneous ages may remember that lossless was required; this is still a rule.

Also, I'm introducing a rule which may become controversial! oh no!

Your music may not be completely loop-based.

This is to prevent people just assembling loops and calling it a song, which is kind of unfair and TBH a bit boring. Now, you can't not use loops. Loops can be good as Mr. Skirmisher shows on his excellent track "Total Sum" on the thing that just got released up there, which uses a drum loop if I'm not mistaken(?).
Things such as this are completely fine, but just using loops isn't.
And I still reserve the right to refuse any track. ^^

Re: Soundtrack to Miscellaneous II release and the future of compilations

I keep saying I'm going to do it but forget, so I'm going to try and record before I make any promises.

Well if you wanted honesty, that's all you had to say. I never want to let you down or have you go, it's better off this way.

Re: Soundtrack to Miscellaneous II release and the future of compilations

I want a way to contribute to this but uh I can't sing.
And I have no means of electronically making music.
And uh

I wished I could and did.
