11.04 has always been buggy for me. 11.10 is fine.

I haven't tried much of either. I like KDE.

Ah. I like KDE as well, though LXDE is my favourite. I have KDE on Windows as well. :3

It is not required. Mac already has the best looking GUI ever.

Aqua isn't that great looking IMO. Too shiny and flashy for my tastes.

Oh and I mostly have it for the KDE applications, not the GUI.
