A Journal

I'm making a journal!
In it I include all the working out I do each day,
all the music I listen to, and my rating of it,
what I practice on guitar and how I can improve.

Discuss  smile

Re: A Journal

Journals are cool
I never manage to keep them a very long time though
In my most successful journal, I wrote three times a day the first two days or so, then once a day for a few weeks, then every couple of days after two months, occasionally over the course of five more months, and now only every few months to vent, which makes it look to the reader as if I have suddenly gone psycho
Usually though I abandon them after a week or so

haha, once you get tired of it, you should write a big death entry and then have someone read it  tongue

Re: A Journal

I have kept them going for a few years, when I was young.  It's a lot of fun to look back on them later and remember the kinds of things that were important to you at different times in your life.  Have fun with it  smile

Yeah I,m kinda like that. I think the trick is to also use them as sketchbooks because that makes me want to use mine more often.

Actual no, I call it a journal but it's more of a record or a file, recording what I did, not "dear diary, heartfelt crud that no one cares about etc."

Re: A Journal

I sometimes keep journals (coughdiariescough). Right now I encourage myself to write in it so that if it's the last thing anyone ever finds of my area for some reason, that's what they'll think people around here were like.

Do tell me how you were so important and should, in case of sudden disaster, be considered the standard of your residential area.

Maybe she'll put it in an incredibly strong safe so it'll be the only survivor of the explosion or whatever
This way it'll be the only evidence left of the whole local area  yikes
...Of course, combination codes are a pain to remember
