I know the german accent and american as well as a bit of cockney...

EDIT: I can also do french smile

I'm trying to learn Irish as well as Scottish and South African...

British accents are plain, although that could be because the local accent (Australian) where I live is so similar to it.

I basically lengthen and exaggerate all my vowels and then give the Rs a real fat sound and make all the As and Os sound like the a in bath.

Oh, and I say aluminum instead of aluminium. tongue

Sounds good to me...

Could be because accents are often generalised.

For example his Aussie accent is very hard to here in Australia outside of movies tongue

To an Australian, what do American accents sound like.

Actually, different states (and even different cities) usually have different way of enunciating things. The turning of T sound into D sounds is pretty prevalent in New York City, not so much outside of New York City, for example.

yeah it's a bit silly saying there's one 'american' accent, especially because the country is so large and diverse
