Super Smash Bros.

I love this game. I have all three. I personally think melee is the best. Post your thoughts here on ssb.

Re: Super Smash Bros.

One of my favorite series... I actually liked melee the least, though it's still an amazing game. 2nd favorite is Brawl, favorite is N64.

I agree that Melee and Brawl improved on it.

Re: Super Smash Bros.

Brawl's system lacks a bit, considering the ability to combo is much harder.

I liked melee the best, as it had the large variety of characters and available playing styles, and it kept the game-play smooth and agile.

Though, I didn't like Roy, as he was overpowered, having a wide ranged physical attack, and an overpowered recovery that could instant kill something barely in the air.

Roy isn't actually overpowered. He ranks 19th on the tier list (look it up) because he's hard to combo with, and easily chain-grabbed. Roy gets worse once you get better, that's the whole idea.

Re: Super Smash Bros.

I have played melee and brawl and I think melee was the best nintendo game they made for Gamecube. Brawl is a really good game for the wii, but it can't beat Mario Galaxy. (Galaxy  ish my fav game for da Wii .3.)

Re: Super Smash Bros.

That's funny. Everyone says melee is their favorite, but to me, it's my least favorite. Before you start telling me that melee is for real players because you can combo, I'd like to say that the N64 one was my favorite because of its combos. You see, to me, the N64 version is better than melee, making it 1st, whereas brawl is more for casual players, which is good, giving that the 2nd spot on my list.

Re: Super Smash Bros.

Well, I personally think that the N64 is a little too simplistic. The point is that you don't have enough game modes to make it real interesting for a longer time. Melee fixed this making it the best for me. In Brawl, they just put in a little too much, if you know what I mean.

By the way, my favourite characters are Marth and Fox, in every game, as far as they are unlockable. (no Marth in the original SSB)

I don't really care about the game modes, just vs. mode. Marth is my favorite in Brawl, Pikachu is my favorite in the N64.

Re: Super Smash Bros.

Oh yeah, that game is fun. Well, to be honest with you, the only game I have in the series is the original for the N64.  tongue

But I'm hoping to get Brawl soon. I'm looking forward to seeing the updated character selection and stages. Hopefully, by the time I get it, there will still be people in the Wi-Fi Lobbies. XD

Yeah. Pikachu is surprisingly very powerful. Possibly the most powerful out of the whole ensemble.

By far, because everyone's recoveries are awful except for his and kirby's, who is the second best character.

True. I fought Master Hand twice, once with Mario and once with Pikachu, and it went much faster with Pikachu.
