Er, if you make the stuff yourself or have permission to use it then nothing will happen, sonic and mario games won't be censored, Nintendo bought sonic a while ago, they're allowed to use him.
And if ACTA did pass, nobody would shut up about it. Even in voting there were huge waves on the internet of pictures, people still have stuff like that in their sig.

Scratch has no permission to do anything with copyright. And it's just the pictures -- graphics can censor the whole address too.
I agree with you on the last part, through. But what point does that destroy?

You're supporting ACTA, aren't you? As I edited my post, I said that ACTA is dictatorlike, fascist, silly, and communist!No, I do not support ACTA. Nor do I support, SOPA, PIPA or SOCA.
I've never heard of SOCA, but from the name it sounds like "Stop Online Copyright (infringement) Act". It sounds good, but what damage does that law do? I don't want to be hit with rotten tomatoes because I support that law. It sounds like I won't support it anyway.
Similar to SOPA. SOCA shut RnBXclusive down, and apparently if you visit a site that SOCA closes the authorities log your IP and you may get a visit from the police as to why your visiting a site hosting illegal material

Scratch will be closed down if mods don't do anything about it, but there would be new rules to make sure they don't.
The last bit is saying that if it did pass there'd be much more than just one topic on Scratch.

But we don't know if it does host the material in the first place! Why do they do that? That's just stupid. I decided already I do not support it!
I support any law that STSL's (Stops These Stupid Laws).

@Liru: I know it could, but we could solve that. Or are you talking about the bad laws? They must be cancelled out.
@lukanater: I agree.

Since I don't see a project being advertised here, this doesn't belong in Show and Tell. It actually doesn't fit anywhere in our forums. If you want to make a project about it, that's fine, but don't intentionally miss-place your posts
