Piano

I've been playing piano for a long time (9 years), and I'm trying to make my own song. To all of you that are also experienced pianists, do you have any tips as to how to make a GOOD song?  big_smile

I am aiming for classical, fast, and emotional.  smile

Re: Piano

I like to just improvise and then when I get something that sounds good I play it again and then write it down.

Re: Piano

Listen to a lot of relevant music.
Sit down at the piano.
Experiment.
When you've found something that sounds good, build on it.
Improve it...

Re: Piano

I used to play...

Now I prefer the guitar.

Anyways, to make it sounds good, you have to have lots of nice chord changes.

Minor chords are good for dramatic pieces.
