Re: Marble Racer

Great work - What steps did you use to create this?  What made you decide to add the "teleportation devicenator?"   If you were to make a new version of this, what would you try and differently?

Okay, long post time.  big_smile

Thank you for taking a look firstly. I like all the nice comments.

By what steps you made this, do you mean what I did first? First I made the marble with the basic movement, the some of the course, added to the marble scripts and so on and so forth until it was done. I had no clue what it would look like until I finished it.

The "Teleportation Devicenator 3000" Was somthing that I actually got from a cartoon where the evil guy would always add the sufix "inator" to all his stuff. I was just in a weird mood, and that was my second time writing it so I just decided to be funny. I never thought anyone would actually notice.

Funnily enough, I am going to make a new version of this. It was just my test demo thingy and when it got that many good comments and love its, I decided to make a new one. I would add a start screen in first and also program the marble first, then make the courses. More courses and longer, plus a better way of scoring and more tiles. Oh, and I would add my personal logo in the begining.

Thanks for the post!  smile

Re: Marble Racer

That's great to hear that you are inspired to create another project - one of the best ways to learn to be a good designer is to think about how you made something and how you could change it.  It is great to see that you are taking the time to think about your project and also to follow up and recreate it in a new way  smile
