why does everyone hate windows 8 so much? i like it. though i don't really have it, but i do want to upgrade. either that or get a 7" netbook with windows embedded ce 6.0. i don't know why i would take a miniature laptop that runs an os with not that many features, but at least it has the desktop interface that we all know and love, the sidebar gadgets, the start menu, and solitaire. i like solitaire.

Is there new footage of it? From what I've seen, it looks awful. So stickin' with my 7.

a thousand glitches all pressed into one little laptop!
lol sorry but it is going to be extremely glitchy, just like vista was

I have used it for nearly a month now. It is not glitchy. It is good as windows 7. Metro is GOOD once you know how to use it properly.

Metro works good on touch screens. And nothing else.

I'm telling you, it's almost as good as Vista! :l

Yeah, no one's trusting you for Microsoft product reviews anymore.

I'm posting from Windows 8 on a friend's computer, and I love this OS. It takes sometime to figure out, I'll grant, but overall this is great! Microsoft has definitely risen to the standards that Apple has set.

For phones. (By the look of it)
Don't get flamey, it looks like IOS stuffed in an iMac to me, without using it.

It's not hidden, just on auto-hide. It'll show up if you move your mouse the to bottom-left of the screen.
@meew0: It's not worse than Windows 7; first Windows 2000 came out, but that's incredibly old, so Microsoft made XP. Than that was old, so they made Vista. But Vista wasn't a great OS, so they made Windows 7. Windows 7 was perfection. So now Microsoft is actually advancing and making a new operating system since there's nothing left to perfect.

That seems pretty neat actually. I'm currently using Windows 7.
