Wow. Windows 8 is awesome! My parents got one.
Os update, laptop, desktop, tablet, what did you get?
My only experience with W8 is on desktops. But the other day, I tried out a touch screen laptop with it at Staples and it is so awesome. It was so fast, and it was like a budget $400 machine! Imagine what it could be on a real, top notch computer!
Honestly Windows 8 works much better as a touchscreen platform because I can't see myself using it. Windows 7 is quite possibly my favorite operating system and I don't think I'm that ready to turn away from it.

That's how I felt about XP too until my dad bought a Windows 7 machine and my whole life changed.

I definitely use 7 a lot, but I will always be attached to my XP machine.

Personally, I think Win8 is worse than Win7. I like Win7 better. Win8 is harder to navigate, and the Start button function is awkward. I hope Win7 never goes away, or I won't use a computer anymore.
relativity, right?

People just think of Microsoft as that old company who makes pieces of trash for software. And I'll bet half of them don't know who made their XBOX 360 .

It's the kind of OS theme that reminds you of those olden day websites with comic sans, weird backgrounds and lots of gifs.

Dagnabbit.
I don't have a functioning computer (well a barely working one) that runs xp and this makes me sad. Windows XP is the best and most stable version of Windows yet
