Hey everybody! I'm wondering, what game is better?

Please don't judge on graphics or being "too old."

I think Contra is better cause is is actualy hard!

Contra. Call of Duty is basically the same generic shooter as a half-price shooter from an unknown company. Contra managed to be one of the first shooters which had a storyline and a great soundtrack. Well, can you remember Call of Duty's online waiting delay music? Thought not.

Although I don't play these games, it's nice they're using Latin.

Contra is Latin for conflict, it is shortened to con in "pros and con's", quite interesting really.

Contra for sure.

But Contra's a run and gun, and Call of Duty's a first person shooter. A better comparison would be Goldeneye 007 vs. Call of Duty.

I've never played Contra. I have though played Call of Duty and it's not the best.

Well legend has it the earlier CoD games were actually somewhat original and not too bad.

But contra, nonetheless. It's a good game if you can't get past the first level.

They are 2 extremely different games.
One is a 3D modern fps.
And one is a 2D arcade shooter/platformer.

This quote makes my point quite well. I'm not overly sensitive about cod. I see negative blanket statements being used on top of someone comparing two wildly different things and saying that they are the same.

No matter what you guys say, i still root for CoD. I am not the biggest fan of games behind the, say, 1991? If it makes me unpopular than SO BE IT! I am willing to stare unpopularity in the eye and punch him in the face! (depending what mood i am in)
Anyways, Contra is not a bad game, i am just saying that my personal opinion is Call of Duty. And yes, it does bug EVERYWHERE! and i am sick of playing it with my Dad.

It's not the bugs that we're on about.
It's the COMMUNITY.
The fact that they all buy the same game no matter what it is so long as it has the words call of duty on the box.
They could sell poop and make MILLIONS.
Then again, weren't they already doing that with MW3?
