None, the file doesn't show up in the open box, and when I try to record sounds, it thinks I'm giving it a half-second of nothingness.

^This is important. Scratch only supports certain .WAV's and .MP3's.

Windows Vista Business SP2.
File type is WMA I believe.
If it matters, the microphone came out of a toy and just happened to use a standard microphone plug. It works with Skype but not Scratch.

you can't use wmas
they have to be mp3s or uncompressed pcm wav
