I'm pretty sure there is going to be a Mario Kart game for the Wii U, and I have very high hopes for it. I think that it could possibly even replace Mario Kart 64 for my favorite Mario Kart game ever.
I have loads of ideas, and I'll post some for feedback.
-Each character has it's own special items.
-There should be a Mario Kart store, where you can connect to the Internet and get new items. There should also be unlockable items.
-Online play should have same features as Mario Kart 7, and when creating a community you should be able to do more than 1 item without doing all of them.
-Coins should stay.
-Kamek, Baby Yoshi, and Piranha Plant should be playable characters.
Older Courses I Want Back
-Koopa Beach (Super Mario Kart)
-Vanilla Lake 1 (Super Mario Kart)
-Toad's Turnpike (Mario Kart 64)
-Royal Raceway (Mario Kart 64)
-Yoshi Valley (Mario Kart 64)
-Cheese Land (Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
-Sunset Wilds (Mario Kart: Super Circuit)
-Wario Colosseum (Mario Kart: Double Dash)
-Rainbow Road (Mario Kart: Double Dash)
-Bowser's Castle (Mario Kart: Double Dash)
-Wario Stadium (Mario Kart DS)
-Delfino Square (Mario Kart DS)
-Tick Tock Clock (Mario Kart DS)
-Neo Bowser City (Mario Kart 7)
-Maka Wuhu
-Rainbow Road (Mario Kart 7)
What do you want? What do you think of my ideas? Please let me know, as I'm very interested.

I am thinking of submitting an e-mail to Nintendo about the quality of these games. I think the high point of Mario Kart was the DS Game, where they had Dry Bones, Elimination System for Battle, and Single-Player VS. Mario Kart 7 got rid of all these things. (Basically they got rid of all the good parts of Mario Kart).

I only know about the original (possibly? I don't know if it's original or not) Mario Kart Wii. I have it, and it's really fun. I like Koopa Cape and Maple Treeway, but Rainbow Road is really hard.

Characters:
Mario (Medium)
Luigi (Medium)
Wario (Cruiser)
Waluigi (Cruiser)
Peach (Light)
Daisy (Light)
Bowser (Heavy)
Bowser Jr. (Medium)
Rosalina (Medium)
Yoshi (Medium)
Birdo (Medium)
Baby Mario (Feather)
Baby Luigi (Feather)
Baby Peach (Feather)
Toad (Feather)
Toadette (Feather)
Donkey Kong (Cruiser)
Diddy Kong (Light)
Goomba (Feather)
Koopa (Light)
Shy Guy (Feather)
King Krool (Heavy)
Boo (Light)
Dry Bones (Medium)
Mii (Medium)
(In case you don't know: Feather -> Light -> Medium -> Cruiser -> Heavy)
Items:
Mushroom
Mini Mushroom
Mega Mushroom
Golden Mushroom
Banana
Green Shell
Red Shell
Blue Shell
Super Star
Lightning
Thundercloud
POW Block
Blooper
Bob-omb
Bullet Bill
Thwomp
Chain Chomp
Boomerang
Fire Flower
Super Leaf
Lucky Seven
Fake Item Box
I think they should keep the kart customizing from MK7. The kart bodies should be like these:
Standard
Limousine
Buggy
Monster Truck
Barrel Train
Mushroom
Koopa Shell
Bowser Shell
Yoshi Egg
Tanooki
Bullet Bill
Fireball
Banana
Bob-omb
Piranha Plant
Cloud
Baby Pram
Koopa Clown
Warp Pipe
Bumble Bee
Bat
Tugboat
Jetplane
Rocketship
Motorbike
Golden
Yeah, that's basically it.
I still think they should make Mario Kart Galaxy...

I do think that Dry Bones and missions were good parts of Mario Kart DS, but I prefer Mario Kart 7 because of overall better tracks, improved online mulitplayer, and cart customization.
On another note, what do you think of my retro course ideas?

They kind of need to. Every big Nintendo console SNES and on has had a Mario Kart game, and each have been commercially and critically successful. A new Mario Kart would sell millions, so there's no reason not for them to do it.

In my opinion, Mario Kart 7 seems to have dropped its quality. If you drift and gain a Mini-Turbo in Mario Kart Wii, the blue/orange flames that come out of the back of your vehicle have much more realistic quality than the flames in Mario Kart 7. In that game, the flames look flat and pixelated, slightly (in a way) reminding me of paper.

Balancing shells needs to be done, blue shells are just not thought out at all and red shells are just stupid seeming there's no skill involved in blocking them. Racing games are about skill, not luck.

Here are some retro ones I want back:
GameCube:
Baby Park
Luigi Circuit
Mushroom Road
DS:
Mario Circuit
Wii:
Bowser Castle
Dry Dry Ruins
Rumble Volcano
Toads Factory
3DS:
Alpine Pass
Wuhu Island Loop
Wuhu Mountain Loop
Koopa City
Sorry if I got any names wrong, these are the Mario games I have played. But the GameCube and DS names, I'm not sure about theirs.

Retro Courses I think I'd want:
SNES:
Mario Circuit 4
GBA:
Riverside Park
Bowser Castle 4
N64:
Royal Raceway
Toads Turnpike
GCN:
Sherbet Land
Bowser's Castle
Wario Colisseum
DS:
Figure-8 Circuit
Wario Stadium
Shroom Ridge
Wii:
DK Summit
Grumble Volcano
Moo Moo Meadows
3DS:
Rock Rock Mountain
Neo Bowser City
Okay those were my Ideas for retros.
I think they should let you choose the room you join on Wifi.
If they use Grumble Volcano they better not remove the Ultra Shortcut.

They should have a Super Mario Galaxy themed track, and one that isn't called Rainbow Road. Probobly a circuit going through the iconic galaxys in the first game.

It's about time Mametchi returns. Does nintendo care for MKGP2?
All i really want is Mametchi (search it up, it's pretty much a mario kart character.) and Shroom Ridge, MK64 Rainbow Road, All cup tour to return from GCN, and the ability to play as Baby Rosalina.
EDIT: Want proof Mametchi is a Mario kart character? Here you go.

Of course they will. If they patched Mario Kart 7 to remove the Maka Wuhu shortcut exploits, then they'll remove Grumble Volcano if it's remade.
