I dunno. Just make a PHP script to get the hits from the URL that downloads the file.Good idea, I'll start that soon.
A very small script, actually. It saves the counts in a file (just make sure you have the file there in the first place
):
Code:
<?php $num = (int)file_get_contents("filecounter.txt"); $fp = fopen("filecounter.txt", "w"); [b][color=red]fwrite($fp, $num++);[/color][/b] fclose($fp); header('Location: http://downloadsite.here'); ?>I can't remember the write function, but I think thats right. If not, then just swap the parameters around.
To read:Code:
<?php echo file_get_contents("filecounter.txt"); ?>that should work. Send the user to the first script instead of directly to the download link.
The one thing I learned in programming class (the worst class I have ever taken otherwise) was that if you do something with $i++, it will return $i and then add 1 to it. You need to use ++$num, as it will add 1 BEFORE returning the value.

I want to download it, but dumb norton says its a "threat"
I wrote the installer in AutoIT, which a lot of antivirus programs don't like.
I'll make a .zip version, hold on.
EDIT: .zip version is available at: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/15819889/Insanity/Insanity.zip, and I will put that on the site in a minute.
Awesome! I was just about to ask. I like Scratch Mods that are compiled into a ZIP Archive rather than .EXE or .MSI installers.

Please don't tell everyone the password, let them find out for themselves.

Can you stop quoting yourself?
Import Project block requires no code except for the blockspec, btw (unless you have to call it by it's class)

I don't remember how I did it, but I believe I called it by class.

News: I am officially starting Insanity 1.1.
There is not a list of new features available yet, but it is expected to have a better uploader to Mod Share and probably a few more blocks.

What do you mean by add it here? This is the Insanity topic...
In other news: tomorrow, I am creating the Insanity forums (for real this time).

MORE forums? How about just adding section in the FS forums?

I am going to make Insanity its own community.
Anyway, as for users and such, it will be integrated into the Mod Share user system.

I have started programming the Insantiy forums.
Currently, they directly integrate into the Mod Share user system.
They are available at http://modshare.tk/insforums/.
