Use Of Two Versions Of Scratch?

I have been reading the wiki about experimental blocks in Scratch 1.2. I would like to try them by downloading Scratch 1.2 (While owning Scratch 1.4), but I don't know if it will interfere any parts of Scratch 1.4, such as the scripting and projects. Any ideas?

Re: Use Of Two Versions Of Scratch?

Scratch 1.2 won't be able to support features that were released after itself, and I dunno if Scratch 1.4 will be able to use the 1.2 blocks (probably not).

Re: Use Of Two Versions Of Scratch?

I suggest downloading the .zip and extracting Scratch 1.2 to your Desktop or something. It won't interfere if you do it that way.  smile
