It's a classic book by John Steinbeck. Have you read it? What did you think of it? I really enjoyed it.

I recognise that line from the Robert Burns poem, "To a Mouse". Is it related?

I don't think so.

OK, even good books get boring after that many times. I feel sorry for you.

I've only read a summary, from what I could glean (I was in like 4th grade) Lenny is a really depressing character.

Actually, it is. Steinbeck changed the title from Something That Happened to Of Mice and Men after reading the poem.
I just had to read it over winter break for my English class. The ending was sad, but it really had to happen.

I've never read it, but my brother had to make a movie based on the book for school.
