yours doesn't beat mine, its not bad though, a dou core is a processor with 2 processors it can do two things at once, I remember righting an essay on making the perfect computer, it costed $10000!!! there is also a quad core available it costs $1000 in itself!

Most people don't have 2 computers(at least, I don't think so) And I'm getting a new labtop after school starts.(a 2004 HP computer)Its HD is busted, so were going to put the HD in my current computer in the other one.

I have 2 monitors and then on our downstairs CPU, the monitor is a 25in. flat screen.

truthfully the best monitor is to buy an HDTV (yes it does work) even better 3 HDTVs, for 3 you need to have a hefty graphics card, probably 768MB or higher
Offline
To bad I don't have that kind of money. And yes 768MB or higher video cards are VERY expensive. They are over $1000.

even more expensive is custom graphics cardm neaning the company makes the graphics card specially for you, so it can be 1024Mb or 1GB

I have a 17 inch flat screen mac. All I need to say is "Mac" to beat everybody. While you have 2 separate components to your computer- a hard drive and monitor- I have just a monitor about an inch thick. That's it.
Offline
2006 HP Pavilion a1600n Desktop PC
200GB HD
1GB RAM
Windows XP MCE 2002
256MB nVidia graphics card
AMD Athlon x2 3800+ DC Processor (2Ghz)
15 in. TFT-LCD monitor
Load of superfluous USB/IEEE ports
DVD±RW drive w/lightscribe
Wacom tablet XD
It doesn't beat Dingdong's but I have fun rattling that off.

I have a mac with a 1440 x 900 px Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) and 148.73GB hard drive and a 183GHz intel core 2 duo processor, DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive, 512MB of RAM, and... I think I'm missing something... Oh, yes. Graphics card: 64mb of ram... Nothing compared to DingDong's...
For other stuff: It meets ENERGY STAR requirements (meaning that it's energy efficient), it comes with a mac keyboard (pretty good), wireless mighty mouse (excellent since they added a scroll wheel), amazing webcam & microphone
came with: Mac OS X 10.4.3 (but now upgraded to 10.4.11), dashboard, front row, spotlight, iChat AV, Mail, Safari, Address Book, quicktime, iLife '06 (bought the computer in 2006)(includes iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie HD, iDVD, iWeb, Garageband), Photo Booth, iCal, Big Bang Board Games, Comic Life, OmniOutliner, and many more such as chess, grab, colour sync, etc.

Ok so my computers are outdated and I know I can't win. Darn. Once I have saved up enough money though, I'm getting a computer built specificaly for gaming.

ehheheh I knew my graphics card rules! I got fro my B-day, it costs $130 $85 with rebate, I originally had a 64MB graphics card that sucked, if you've heard of command & conquer 3: tiberium wars, my graphics card can now pummel the highest level of graphics in that game!!!!

that can cost a lot of money
here's my bestest computer idea:
hard drive: 3 1TB hard drives (or more if possible)
processor: intel quad core
graphics card: 2 768MB (or higher)
sound card: 7.1 surround sound
monitor: 3 HUGE HDTV's (looking at about $15000 right here)
speakers: a surround sound system (about 7 speakers)
other: logitech gaming mouse ($100), gaming keyboard, high quality gaming headset, 3 mounts (for TV's), windows XP (don't use vista, it sucks!!!), and a wicked glass desk to store it all
you're looking at about $20000 probably more, good luck! lolz

Use a Mac instead. They don't get viruses, and you only have the monitor

my family owns 1 Imac, 1 macbook (which I'm currently on), 2 PC laptops, and 3 PC's
PC's are more mainstream and they're probably going to stay that way, so I use my PC fro gaming

We own 1 Mac (well, I do), 1 Pc (for my mom), another for my brother, and my dad has a laptop. The coolest computer I have seen though would be my guitar teachers cause he hooked up all the boxes and stuff (can't think of the other things right now) for recording, has a wireless setup, an electronic drum kit and keyboard as well as mics and a plug for recording, 2 monitors, and Sonar 7. Little place, but it's really cool and covered in that foam stuff to reduce echo

I live in 2 houses (divorces), so I own...
A windows 98 (mine! I got it when we bought our windows XP!)
three windows XPs (but one's broken and the others are the slowest computers on earth)
one iMac (not the new ones which come with Leopard but the ones that came with Tiger)
7 laptops (three for my dad, two for my stepmom, one for my sister and another for another one of my sisters, none of which I am allowed to use at any time).
This leaves me with two super-slow windows XPs and a mac which I can only use a few times a week due to divorces.
Total: 12. But about half of them hardly work.

I am getting my new labtop computer tomorrow! YAY! (and no, this isn't the gaming computer)

well the best I can do is if you buy new parts I can walk you through how to upgrade your computer
