I don't, like, know what you mean, y'know?
My parents are the ones who say "you know" a lot, but I'm guilty of saying "like" when I'm hesitating and stuff

Once, this girl at my school said "like" seven times in a sentence.
Wow, just wow
I'm more, like, (oh crud that was unintentional)...well like I just displayed there
At least I don't say (as some other people unnamed do), "Like, it's like, totally unfair that she, like, gives us, like, homework, like, every day!"

She went something like (well it fit), "Like, uh, what would you do if, like, uh, I mean, like, if your project was like, uh, not, like, exactly what you wanted because mine is, like, soo sloppy, it's like, uh, uh, never mind."

Just the popular girls (like that girl)
"Hey-uh how's it going-uh guuuuuurl-uh??? I'm-uh soooo exhausted-uh."
But when reading aloud, I'm the only one who can do it well.
"My n...name? Yeah, name. My name is kee-as-er...?"

You know, I actually do talk like that in real life? Like, really.

I'm trying to cut down on filler words IRL. My goal is to get so I never use "like" as a filler word ever again.

I am an adult, so perhaps you may want me to reassure you lol. Verbally said out loud there is nothing stopping an adult saying, "ya know", instead of saying, "You know", and
most often than not it is generally a teenager will say that simply because that is what
they will hear other people their age say, and will be familiar with it, an adult would have lost more comfort than a teenager, and wouldn't make themselves feel more amused if by saying it, so wouldn't refer to small in group ways of speaking to comfort themselves.

I know that people do that. My mom punishes me when I do it, it drives her that batty.

They're all like that
It's like (oh dear, I'm afraid /that/ I can't stop saying), reading aloud from the science textbook: 'My-tosis-uh, is, like-uh, uh, auh prooocess-uh...likeuh, what's that woorduh meanuh?'

I really only say like. I don't think I've ever said "you know" xD But I do have a problem with saying like too much. It's not really noticeable, it's not like I have valley girl accent or anything (not that there's anything wrong with that)

Like, why do some people say, like, "like", like, every time they say, like, a few words, like, in their sentence? Ya know?
