I don't, like, know what you mean, y'know?
My parents are the ones who say "you know" a lot, but I'm guilty of saying "like" when I'm hesitating and stuff

You know, I actually do talk like that in real life? Like, really.

I am an adult, so perhaps you may want me to reassure you lol. Verbally said out loud there is nothing stopping an adult saying, "ya know", instead of saying, "You know", and
most often than not it is generally a teenager will say that simply because that is what
they will hear other people their age say, and will be familiar with it, an adult would have lost more comfort than a teenager, and wouldn't make themselves feel more amused if by saying it, so wouldn't refer to small in group ways of speaking to comfort themselves.

I say "like", but whenever anyone says "you know" it really, really annoys me somehow

They're all like that
It's like (oh dear, I'm afraid /that/ I can't stop saying), reading aloud from the science textbook: 'My-tosis-uh, is, like-uh, uh, auh prooocess-uh...likeuh, what's that woorduh meanuh?'

And when I remember something, I'll be like, "Oh, Yea-yea-yea-yea-yea-yeah" at like, high speed or somethin'.

Like, why do some people say, like, "like", like, every time they say, like, a few words, like, in their sentence? Ya know?
