Ant Farm. Have ants tunnel around in it. You have one ant that is the player, and other ants that are competing with him for food. You have lots of food randomly placed through the terrain and the ants have to find it and eat it. Power ups could make them move faster/slower, get bigger/smaller, change color, etc. Pellets could be worth points, and different color pellets are worth more points. The AI ants eat the pellets too, so the player has to get to the high value pellets quickly.
