I get Pipping and Merry mixed up for some reason.
maybe because you think his name is Pipping, not Pippin.
After reading the books and watching the movies 500 times it will all make sense.
Lol I used to get Boromir confused with Aragorn when I first watched it.

I read The Hobbit recently. It was a really good book. The best chapter was Riddles in the Dark though.

LOTR is like PG-13! Its violent! It has bloddiness!
Or did you see the like 1980's animated version? Because if you did, that version freaks me out. "IM THE MOUTH OF SAURON/ SUPER HERO BATMAN DUDE!"

I read the Hobbit and liked it. A lot. It was light and funand yet very serious at the same time, with a combination of adventury adventure.
I read the first book and was slightly disappointed that it wasn't as light and fun as the hobbit was- in fact it was very dark and gloomy. It was sort of like reading a history textbook, only in a fantasy world. I found myself falling asleep while reading several times.
The second book I got halfway through, then suddenly realized I was very bored of the plot and storyline, as well as the characters. I started noticing a sort of pattern in their adventures, and now I was just waiting for the juicy parts to begin, but it seemed to take forever.
Finally I quit the series once and for all, perhaps never to return again. Good day to you sirs. *sticks chin up into the air, pouts, and struts away with dignity*
edit: Maybe it's because I need to watch the movies in order to understand the plot better. I don't know.
