Here's my opinion on spongebob

1st season- used cell coloring instead of digital, so it was classic, and funny. 4 stars
2nd season- fantastic! 5 stars
3rd season- awesome! 5 stars
4th season- descent. 3 stars
5th season- ok. Not so good 2 and a half stars
6th season-bad. 2 stars
7th season- really bad. 1 and a half stars
8th season- TERRIBLE! Half a star
9th (current season)- some of the old writers are back, it's a bit better. For example, arron springer, my favorite second season writer, is back. 2 stars

My opinion on future seasons

10th season- 2 stars
11th season- 2 and a half stars
12th season- I think it'll be back at 3 stars

And then spongebob will end.... RIP old spongebob

There isn't a spongebob topic.

I like seasons 1,2,3, and 4. I haven't seem season 5, but i despise season 6.

My favorite episodes are Pizza Delivery, Chocolate With Nuts, Krusty Towers, Ripped Pants [When i was little, i LOVED the ripped pants song],the popular Idiot Box, and Grandma's Kisses [that episode came out the day my friend was born yikes ]
I also like F.U.N.
When i was little, i loved the episode where the gang goes out of water, and turn into real life items. I used to replay that scene OVER AND OVER Again. Man, nostalgia smile

For anyone who wants to know, my least favorite episodes are Pineapple Fever and The Splinter [just saying]

Oh, man. The first couple seasons of Spongebob were great. Not only did the characters seem to have more personality than usual in a children's cartoon, it just had that perfect balance of children's humor, adult humor, and hipster humor. The writers back then knew just how much of each to incorporate.

Now, with more recent seasons, they have newer writers, who don't know how to handle this mixture as well as the old writers. I think the newer episodes focus mainly on humor for younger audiences (toilet humor, gross-out humor, etc.), and kind of misses the point of the earlier episodes.

So, I love to stick the older episodes. I watch the "Christmas Who?" episode every holiday season. tongue

My favorite episodes would probably be, aside from "Christmas Who?" - "Squidville", "Artist Unknown", "Chocolate with Nuts", "The Fry Cook Games", and "Ugh".

Spongebob used to be my favorite show for like 5 years, then Gravity Falls aired. course my favorite episode was Atlantis Squarepantis or Truth or Sponge.

I know right! big_smile That's what makes the first three seasons so great. They manage to balance out all the humor to appeal to a wider audience. All the innuendos make me crack up now whenever I hear them. lol
