Okay, I made this topic so that we can all discuss what was one of the greatest cartoons ever. Now, I don't want to talk about the whole decline in quality or anything like that. Just talk about the good stuff.

Here's what I think about Spongebob. It was a great show, with lots of humor, and imaginative settings and characters. And, when I say humor, I mean humor. Seriously, watching the older episodes now, I can find a lot more subtle older-kids humor than when I was six.

Season One was awesome. It had some of Spongebob's greatest hits, and it's where the show really took off.

Season Two was funny. In fact, I loved it even more than Season One.

Season Three...was BEAST. Three was the best season of Spongebob, and had all the memorable episodes everyone loves.

Some people disagree, but I liked Season Four. It still had that same Spongebob charm.

Season Five was still pretty funny. It wasn't as funny as the previous seasons, but I still enjoyed it.

Season Six...well, that's where it started to decline. There were a few funny episodes, but it was kind of dull.

Season Seven...getting worse. Now Spongebob is less smart and intellectual than he was in the previous seasons. Not saying that he was the smartest thing on Earth, but he had a lot more brains than this season.

Season Eight...that's when I quit watching the show.

Season Nine, I haven't even watched, because I stopped watching a long time.

So, in a nutshell, seasons 1-3 were the best, and 4 and 5 were pretty cool also.

I think the reason you haven't seen season 9 is cuz it doesn't exist...

He/she's allowed to have their opinions. I personally never really liked Spongebob, but that's my opinion.

Seasons 1-3 of Spongebob were great. Season 4 was okay. Seasons 5 and later are horrible.

Spongebob was a great show for the first three seasons, some really classic episodes and jokes there.

since most new Youtube Poopers use Spongebob, there are tons of bad ones, however.

I love Spongebob, I can connect most things in life with a Spongebob episode and also I can summarize full episodes off the top of my head.

Also, it's one of the few French words I know (Bob l'Eponge).

F is for friends who stick together.
U is for you and me.
N is anywhere in the whole wide world,
Deep down in the deep blue sea!

F is for fire that burns down the city,
U is for uranium, bombs,
N is for... ...no, no, no.

But that hibernation episode, the where Spongebob prepares for hibernation with Sandy, *shivers*.

I have watched spongebob since it came out maybe a year later. I can tell you this: seasons 1,2, and 3 were awesome! At the end of season three they made the movie. That was supposed to be the end of spongebob FOREVER! Anyway, the creator, Stephen hillenburgh then left the show. So did most writers and artists. But, since spongebob was nickelodeons most money-making show, they had to go on. So they got a new head supervisor in place of hillenburgh, Paul tibbet. Now, with all new writers, artists and better animation, the show would never be the same. The new writers couldn't come up with anything funny or good.
I think that the fourth season was ok, but I like the second season the best

You didn't like Pre-Hibernation Week?

That still remains one of the best Spongebob episodes to me.
