This really helped. I had a lot of projects that wouldn't get anywhere, and I had to delete them, only I didn't know how.

How do I send messages to other Scratch.mit.edu users?
Private messaging isn't going to happen (we like to keep the community open and friendly ) However, you can always leave a comment on one of their projects or galleries Hope this helps.

Yep, Wolfie is right.
Usually users on Scratch communicate with each other by posting comments on each other's projects or galleries.

How do you remove a project from the Computer Memory, not from the website?
Go into Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) and find the file - it should be in Documents, Scratch Projects if you haven't changed it - select it, and press the "delete" key

well, you could just ignore the project if you don't have the right computer.when i was young, this website didn't exist.I used to create projects left and right.i even thought the people who made the sample projects used the same scratch designer thingy so i thought they would get mad at me for take up to much bytes!i had scratch 1.0 so i was limited to little options.when i found out about this website,i got an account quick.i had so many projects in my fie to last me about nine months!so,it's not that bad to have lots of projects in your designer thingy because they might come in handy

I go to C\Program Files\Scratch\Projects.I see all the created\came with scratch project
folders.Let's say i go to the Games folder and right click on 2 Pacman. I sees a long list
of possible operations such as:Open,Scan 2 Pacman.sb(.sb is the format of the file),Open
with,Delete,etc.

I think that will delete all your projects.

Does anyone know how to delete an unuploaded project?
If you have Windows Vista or any other program that let's you search All Programs (I mean like, under All Programs there is a Search Bar) Then I recommend you use this way. it is much easier.
1. Go to the Start Menu
2. Go to where the Search Bar is (Under All Programs)
3. Type in the name of your project
4. When it shows up, right click on it and click on "Open File Location"
5. When that's up, right click on the project and click delete.
6. Go to the recycle bin and REALLY remove it from your computer
If you DON'T have a search bar under All Programs, do it this way:
1. Go to My Documents
2. There should be a file called "Scratch Projects". Double click on that.
3. All of your Scratch Projects will show up. Right click on the project you want to delete and click delete.
4. Go to the recycle bin and permanently remove it from your computer.
And your done! Hope this helped!
