Why dont you include WIBY (original), WIBY, MVTY (original) and MVTY, then worry about the other songs.

What do you mean by that? Are you suggesting to include both versions (with designer's vocals and the redone vocals) of each song in the album? Techno already suggested to have a bonus track for MVTY. I'm not too sure about WIBY though.  smile

That is a pretty good attempt. I noticed a few mistakes though, and of course the backing on Noteflight was rather prominent. Nevertheless though, I think when mixing it will not make much of a difference, since the other tracks will act as accompaniment too.

If you can, try to rerecord it with those points I mentioned attended to, otherwise, never mind.

Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

Just listened to lundfamily's audition, and yep - a voice like that might fit the first two songs better. We also have to consider the skill, music knowledge and recording quality of the singer though, and veggie seems to have a bit more of those. Hard choice  hmm

I would have to agree with Locker when he said that veggieman's voice was too harsh. I hadn't heard the recording before, but if we are to sport a voice like that, it will turn out worse than designer's, no offense. Since you and I are fine with lundfamily's audition, I say we leave it at that.

I do think lundfamily's voice fits those two songs better, but it would be more difficult to get good recordings from her.

LOL, I know I shouldn't post here, but I would like to say that the project was a FAIL. I do have a new mic (Got it today! ^-^) so it will be ALOT better.

lol.

I think we've pretty much decided on choosing a1130 and lundfamily3, then.

We're supposed to choose in 2 more days, but I think you both may start recording by now.

I thought we agreed that your voice was too harsh. And who cares about any background noise from her mic. I'm a very good mixer, so that's the least to be worried about. I could filter the track she sends me in that case. And no one mentioned she was 'just for those two songs'. You merely auditioned and didn't make it, so she will take up the spot of vocalist.

Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

Hey Techno, could you send me the master tracks for MVTY and WIBY (without vocals) if you still have them? If you don't, could you please upload the bass tracks you did for WIBY on SoundCloud, so that I have all the tracks? I would be grateful if you still have the mixed track though without the vocals.  smile

I eventually will, haven't been able to get on the computer where I have them. You need only the bass tracks?

@veggie, I'll make sure to call you if we ever need you.

No, it would be good if you can send me the whole mixed song without the vocals.  smile

@DIY, I'll send them as soon as possible.

@lundfamily, that's why I said you could start recording now. Look at the first post and check the song "Gone", we need to record that now.

Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

Now we're down to one day left until deadlines are announced. Why is there still a question mark next to "Vocals" and "Piano?" Is lundfamily going to be vocals for just Gone and Reload or for all future songs? Are we still considering veggie as a singer?

I have a lot of questions.  tongue

I'm still considering veggie, mostly since he seems to know more about music. But lundfamily3's voice  would fit our band's style better, so we're going for her. You're definitely in though.  smile

Can I still audition, sorry I've been busy. I'm an 11 year old boy, if that helps in deciding at all.
If I can still audition my audition tape will be up soon.
