Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

Not much. Most ideas I'm having right now are for my hypothetical solo album and that song I gotta write for the contest  tongue  The ideas for Frozen Coco have really been only Memories and other things I haven't uploaded to Noteflight yet.

And I don't think I'll do much this weekend either, due to the stuff I mentioned.

Do you have any that you think will be better performed with the band at least?  hmm

I submitted this idea a while ago, I remember it was a bit hard for techno to transcribe.

Yeah, I definitely remember that. It was much better than your other compositions in my opinion.

Unfortunately, I've not got time to transcribe either, since I'm preoccupied with my own songs at the moment.

I mixed a long time before that since I was expecting your track much before you uploaded. You'll remember, it was after quite a few reminders that you uploaded it.  tongue

I'll see whether I have time to mix it again though with your track.

Is this ok for a transcription?

I'm sure Memories will sound much better when completed, and performed if you mean that.

All the songs I'm coming up for my solo project with are something between hard rock and symphonic metal; won't sound good at all performed by us, nor would fit our style well.

Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

All right. I guess if your solo songs are mainly hard rock and symphonic metal, they won't suit FC's style. However, if you do have any good songs, be sure to transcribe them.  smile  I have got a couple of hard rock songs in mind which I think would be OK to record.

That's fine with me, just remember to post your songs when you're done with them (I personally am a big fan of your solo work  smile  )

I obviously will  smile

I don't have as much things to do now (decided not to enter the contest), so I'll focus in mixing OOtP and completing that solo for Blissful Rapture.

EDIT: Now that I'm listening to the mix with my mom's headphones (all I have currently is earphones which aren't as ideal for mixing), the mix is indeed insanely high in bass.  tongue  I think I'll start from scratch, my mix is way too messy to try to correct it.

Yeah, the bass is indeed high like I mentioned I think in my last e-mail to you (or was it the one before)?

You really need to get that solo transcribed as I have started recording Blissful rapture and you'll need to get to recording that soon too.

Transcribed the first solo here. Will probably improvise something for the last solo when I record it.

If you want to do it for the 32 bars, improvise for the last 16 as well.

EDIT: Dude, this is getting quite frustrating; could you change the permissions for the score for once?

Changed. I know it's quite annoying, I should start setting scores as public from the start from now on. >.>

I know, you really ought to do that.  hmm

The solo sounds decent the way you've transcribed it. I will add it to my main version of the score straight away.

Sorry I've not been on here for the last couple of days. I've been having lenghty discussions with Mari, doing a heck of a lot of things on Noteflight and also I've been recording for the 'masterpiece'. I've been working to get the perfect tone for the lead guitar on the song.

Lola (or Sophie; don't ask me how I know  tongue ), I'm not writing anymore songs for females at the moment (all my songs are either fast-paced rock songs or smooth ballads which I'd prefer males to sing). Mari will be doing both vocal parts to Early December because her voice suits that; I've been having a lot of discussion with her these last few days on Tumblr about that and my song Blissful Rapture too. She's making great progress and I assure you, the final result will be awesome.

I dunno about Techno either. He stated he doesn't have anymore ideas for the band, so we'll keep you updated if you are needed to sing a part.

Btw, happy belated birthday wishes for August 1st (again, don't ask me how I know). Welcome to the teen club  tongue

Um...should I help you find female vocalists again?
'Cause maybe I'll be able to find one in a couple days' time.

Thanks for your concern buddy, but I already have found us one. She's terrific, so we'll manage just fine.  smile
