Alright, sounds good. I'll be uploading it today probably, just the vocals of a song or something.  tongue

Good. If it seems worthy enough of a collab, we'll consider it.  smile

Yesterday it was 31st in the Top Viewed list and now it has jumped to 19th! Just nine more spots up needed (since November 2011 the top ten projects got shuffled on the front page). I followed Lightnin's advice about telling a friend to propose the project to be featured, but how did you come across that conversation?

It will be great if the project gets Top Viewed tomorrow with no advertising what-so-ever. I am very well known on the website side of Scratch so I recognise some of my fans and followers when they comment. Being known also helps to get a project some views!

Meanwhile do the best you can in spreading the word!

Could I make a FrozenCocoVEVO scratch account where I make Frozen Coco Music Videos?

I've already created a channel in which I will be uploading the entire album soon. And VEVO is a branded name by Sony/EMI and other affiliates, so it is not a universal name that can be taken.  hmm

Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

Guys, I just saw Crimson Love on the first slot of Top Viewed! Although it is still on rank 18, for some bizarre reason it seems to have made it to the Top Ten. That's great news for us and I hope it will get featured/curated soon!

Basiclly what I was asking if I could make music videos based off your songs.

Feel free to make AMVs on Scratch, but we have our own YouTube channel which I will be updating soon.

I just noticed Crimson Love being Top Viewed :3 That's always good, I hope it stays on the front page for a while. especially since it's full of furries and coloring contests right now

Exactly, I hate it when people think it's just a generic name for music channels. I say you are free to make AMVs to our songs, and upload them on your own personal accounts in Scratch, Youtube, or whatever site you feel like uploading it to. As long as you give us our respective credit, we'll be fine with it.  smile

For whatever odd reason, I like more the low quality tracks in the project than the SoundCloud versions. ._. Most likely the compression made the bass and the overall tracks seem louder. All songs except MVTY and Gone (instrumentation too quiet, and MVTY is horribly off-sync at parts) sound pretty decent in the project.

I mentioned above, I saw Crimson Love 1st on Top Viewed!  cool

And about the AMVs, I expressed my opinion too before hand about it being absolutely fine. A little publicity could help.  big_smile

I told you, bass is perfect for me. The tracks on MVTY and WIBY are much louder than the originals.  hmm

There is hardly any way that the vocals of MVTY could be corrected without sounding broken up because LolaRose sings it off tempo and misses her cues most of the time. I'm working on remixing the tracks, but since my bass values are adjusted fine (my friend loved bass on Reload), Gone sounds very much alright. Maybe adjust the bass values on your headset?

Hm, I don't exactly have the best headphones right now (only a cheap pair) and I thought it's could've been that, but the bass in the original still sounds much louder to me, in the same headphones. Particularly the low frequencies - which I barely hear on the new versions of MVTY and WIBY, plus Gone. Especially in Gone, I only seem to hear the harmonics of the bass on the fills I play.

The bass tracks you sent me for Gone had some really bad inconsistencies at points. MVTY's and WIBY's bass is louder, I assure you, and I listened to them again. They are definitely given more prominence in my mixes.

My untitled song idea is almost complete, so once I am done soon, we can start on it straight away for the single's release in summer.

@ ProgrammingFreak: No worries, take your time.  smile

Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

Guys, I finished transcribing one of my old song ideas onto Noteflight. I propose we start work on it straight away, scheduled for release early this summer. Please rehearse your respective parts and upload them soon. I know it doesn't have a vocal part yet, but I will add that as soon as I can, but until then please send me your tracks. Can someone please contact hpotter134 and tell him to work out a lead guitar part on his acoustic for the 'solo' section on the Noteflight score? I will be playing rhythm on my electric guitar since hpotter134 doesn't have one. Also, the tone on my one sounds amazing for the song. Thanks.

Re: Frozen Coco - The Online Rock Band

Will check it out. Myself, I'm still working on this. Might as well title it "Out of the Possible". It needs lyrics for the chorus though, the ones I came up with earlier were just not good enough.

I'll try to e-mail hpotter134 now. I recall him saying the e-mail he gave us isn't his main, he might not be checking it.  hmm  I'll message him on SoundCloud instead, theoretically that should send him an e-mail to his main adress, if it's different from the one he gave us.  wink

EDIT: That song of yours is just so funky. Short and quick, I quite like it. Deserves some funky bass fills and lines every now and then, imo. I could try coming up with ideas for that while I figure out the chords, on the next few days.  smile

That's a good brainwave about sending him a message through SoundCloud. Hope that works!
