>1000 posts

I have realized people who have more than 1000 posts only have it labeled as >1000 posts. Why did it change???

Re: >1000 posts

"We did this to discourage the practice of spamming topics just to up one's post count. We considered hiding post count entirely, but decided it's nice to be able to get a general sense of how much someone has posted on the forums - so we went with the tiered approach." - Lightnin (Member Of the Scratch Team)

It's to prevent spammers.

Goodbye, Scratch. I am leaving because of the exams coming up at our school, though I'll check the forums once or twice a week.

Requesting to close topic: This is a kind-of duplicate and it has already been answered.
