If I were to get a mac...
...which one should I get
Something like a $1000 budget
I would use it for:
*programming apps
*testing apps
*releasing apps
*playing minecraft
*watching and downloading mlp
Also, which mac (ignore budget) could do that and be good for gaming (not too much, mostly just civ 5 and portal 2 and gmod)
EDIT: I want it to last for at least 2-4 years. If there is a laptop that fits these criteria that would be nice, although I'm fine with a desktop.

It depends on how long you intend to use it for.

PCs are usually preferable for gaming, but macs are easier to use. I personally prefer PCs.
