Howdy,

Just joined scratch and I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can so I can put some nice scratch content onto my website.

Hmmmm. It that even possible?

I'm an absolute newbie and heard about scratch through a friend. I see there is some software to download.

I am new, just found Scratch online (I know I am late) but I am also new to programming so probably won't create my first one today especially as I am at work trying not to work so can't download the software notice there are no full stops it is because I talk fast....Hopefully I will bring something amazing to Scratch, I enjoy SEO, all music, Smallville and am generally a self confessed geek so may be a bit out of place here!!

Hello and welcome, winsoar. Don't worry about making friends here because eventually you'll have to many.

Once you learn on how to successfully use scratch (if you haven't already  ) you'll be addicted to scratch. If you have any specific questions please feel free to ask them in the "New Members" or "All about Scratch" section.

When you make your first project, be sure to notify me under "Show and tell". ^^

For the most part.
To be honest, this is the internet, and it's nearly impossible to make a website 100% family friendly. On the occasion anything here is deemed inapropriate, it'd be reported, and removed, usually pretty quickly. (That is, if it's seen by anyone.)
I wouldn't worry, though. We have a great team of people moderating this site to ensure that it stays family friendly.

Hey JAMBAMtheSLAM, perhaps you may want to take a look at one of our iTopics regarding violent Scratch Projects (see here). It gives a little more insight as to what is and is not allowed, and what is done should the Scratch Team comes across a project that may cross the line.

Maybe you'll want to specifically look at these replies by the Scratch Team in the thread I mentioned above:
- Dealing with projects with possible inappropriate content
- Scratch Team's view on violence in projects.

Hey there justinbiebergirl, you seem to be a really big fan of Justin Bieber and Edward. One good way to find friends is by searching for projects and galleries related to your interests. I bet you can find more friends by commenting on projects about Bieber or Edward.
