Hello, I am a homeschooling mother, I downloaded scratch to let my son try it but got sidetracked playing myself! I decided to make a 'game' for my younger son...we shall see if the older one gets a turn

Hi princessperky - I know how that happens! Scratch was supposed to be for my kids - but I'm the one who got "hooked"!

Is there a particular sprite image you are looking for? Or are you having trouble getting pictures into Scratch?
You can get new sprites by using the Paint Editor to draw your own. Or, you can go to the Costumes area for the sprite, click on Import and pull in image files stored in a couple of different graphic formats (JPEG and PNG both work well). Another way to do it is to simply drag the image file over to the Scratch program and drop it on it.

Hi friends, I am new to this website and finding it very interesting.
Its a good site for creating games and animated stories and sharing it on the web.
We can even draw new sprites on the paint editor.
I installed scratch on my PC for my brother and I found my self playing with it.
